WS-6906 Digital LCD satellite signal finder?

Hi all,

Can anyone tell me if these meters are any good or can anyone recommend any other satellite meter. The one above is found at this link.

I have been trying to tune a m8s portable dish to use down his caravan but I was there over a couple of hours all I had was a dish on a tripod sky box, cables lnb and a portable lcd all on his lawn, with just the aid of my arms moving the dish back and forth up and down(lol) got a bit of a signal then it would go, SHEESH. Anyways give up in the end and looking for a meter like the one above or the ones sky use, Could anybody please advise.

That`s a bit steep if only 4 1 sat dish.

Maplins do a couple,this 1 is cheap £14.99 Code:

Never used a sat meter myself,i use my old sammy to check signal,sky boxes are crap when trying to line a dish up.

Can you tell me if the dearer one of the links you sent me are any good.

I know the one I sent in the link above is dear but I hate being beaten by techno LOL.

as i`ve said never used 1 so can`t say if any good or not.
if you set it up right on lawn it will still need to be done again on caravan & if it`s not static it will need to be done every time caravan is moved so your m8 better learn how to do it himself or take you on holiday with him.

Ps just type satellite meter in google.uk & have a read,it might help you choose 1 that is best 4 you.
