Hi,
is there anybody here who knows if a multiroomcard, when ordered from Sky UK works in a different home to the one where the first card is being used ?

Thats the problem with multiroom cards they have to be in the box the card is registered to (not so with package without sports or movies) and the box must be connected to the phone line.
Sly do check if the card is in the box at the right phone number and if its not they cut it off, this, i think, is mainly aimed at CS (card sharing).
My brother boasted to me about only paying £10 for the card which was his daughter's multiroom card and he didn't believe me when i told him the above, sure enough 3 weeks later it was cut off.
If you're thinking of sharing at home get a couple of linux boxes, Dreambox, etc, and set it up.
Its safer to put the card back in the original box once a month so it updates.

Sky are trying some new tricks with the length of an ecm making cccam and newcs useless on the channels they are testing it on. The softcams think they are sending the correct CWs but the data is useless.
I've been told oscam is still working - will test this tonight!

Pick tv is 1 of the channels affected and from what i've read elsewhere oscam can open these channels but it does still have problems with them.
I think once oscam is developed a bit more it should be a stable emu.
Not tried it yet but soon by the look of things.

They are also testing it on the encrypted ITV and C4 channels too
I tried oscam last night and after a lot of messing about with the settings and configs got it working ok.
