Satellite tv on pc (please explain).
Sep 25th, 2007, 7:29pm

Hiya all,

Could someone please explain?

I keep seeing adverts for satellite tv (movies, sport etc), for free.

I went to the computer fair the other day and eyeballed a disk that said just this? for £4.95.

Are they allowed to advertise and sell these things if there isn't such a thing.

Prey tell me someone what it's all about.

Thanks for any help that may be forthcoming.

Regards.

Rob.

Hiya m8, bit confusing isn't it?
If you see anyone selling these things just ignore it, do a search on google and you'll find lots of free places to watch foreign tv.
Some require you to download their viewing software and others use WMP or Real player.
The ones that charge for their software can be fairly useful and you can usually find that software on torrent sites, etc.

I've had a look at this sort of thing a while back and don't consider it to be a good alternative to what we get on satellite, so don't get suckered by the sellers of this type of software, after all they're out to make money from you. Wink
