20 MPH Zone

My local council is introducing 20 mph zones all over the place!

I can understand the point in a quiet residential street, where there might be kids playing etc. But they have introduced one on a non-residential road approaching the local supermarket. They have put cameras on it that calculate your speed over the whole of the zone.

I bet they are going to make a lot of money out of this.

Has anyone been caught in one of these new zones?

im in glasgow and its gridlock with them

Where I live there are hundreds of the bloody things and I've had to get my shocks replaced because of them.

nigelsheffield (Offline) Junior Member Posts: 15 Gender:	Re: 20 MPH Zone Reply #6 - Jun 26^th, 2006, 10:44am I live in milton keynes and the council put speed bumps every where, it is real problem for fire engins, ambulances etc, why not put speed camera's even if no film in as this seems to work very well and dosn't slow emergency services and wont wreck your suspension
