BBC Prime only Via2 on Hotbird ?! (Read 3348 times)

I deleted that tp about a week ago as it was no longer active. I have had another look, and it is not transmitting. I note that 11662V is active and clearing and that 11116V is active but not clearing. I have no way of telling if they are via 2 though.

Thanks M8,

checked that. It opens, but it's not the Via used until now by BBCPrime, it's opening within the TPS package. Can't get that one on my normal receiver at the moment, just on my DVB sat card in the PC.

As it looks like, the 11116H is still active. They changed just a few weeks ago (2/3 march) to that frequency. S2Emu say's it's still Via but with an unknown ident.

Anyone else any info on that?

BTW: From the official bbcprime.com homepage, they've a FAQ section about the frequency change:

I've lost reception of BBC Prime?
We have recently made some changes to the signal that means you must now re-tune to the new signal to continue receiving BBC Prime. The old signal under frequency: 11131Mhz is no longer active.

The new details are as follows:

Satellite: Hotbird 6 Frequency: 11116MHz Polarisation: Vertical Symbol Rate: 27500 FEC: 3/4

This is a simple procedure and can be done using your set top box menu where you will find a channel search function. If you are unsure or have difficulty please consult the manual or handbook that came with your receiver for instructions on finding new channels.
