after giving serious thought about this, and i have seen many advances in my lifetime.
i have come to the conclusion that i could not do without my Digital hearing aids, one for each ear.
not that i can hear like, or even better than anyone with normal hearing, but simply the reason that i can switch them OFF when the going gets noisy.
then it`s shear BLISS  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

This thread I started still going  Grin seems like we're all slaves to technology or batteries for the remotes ( can't talk I had no fewer than 16 at last count in the house!)  
 
Shocking to think we had to get off the sofa to change channels years ago!!  Grin Grin

well i havent actually got obe but i hire a tom tom 700 from www.satnavman.co.uk for going to france and it was fantastic and i am seriously considering buying one now

speaking of remotes, I counted 197 buttons on my controls and use about 7 of them, is it overkill or what?
