Panasonic V Sony TV

Hi all, I have a little dilemma, about two weeks ago I ordered a Panasonic TX32DTX11 TV because my old Toshiba packed up.
Wifey phoned me at work today and said TV's arrived
......BUT they have delivered a Sony KD32DX51 by mistake!!!
I'm not to sure I like the look of the Sony and have looked on the internet to find reviews on both TV's, but without success.
I don't know which one to have now ??? and have another two week wait for the Panasonic to arrive ,so I thought I would ask you guys if I should just keep this Sony, or stay with my original decision and have the Panasonic.
Also both these TV's are 100Hz ,is this better then 50Hz ???
Panasonic Or Sony ??? ???

hi m8
yes the 100hz is better....cleaner, sharper picture. I have the Panasonic 32" 100hz tv and its a great telly. I think Sony's are pretty good too though.
Put the make and model of your Sony into google and you will get plenty of info to compare with the panasonic that you have ordered.
cheers
Bill

Prefer the Sony, just got rid of mine after 5 years of good service in favour of a lcd (sony again, although I was tempted by the panasonic lcd) only reason it went was because of the flood I had or I would still have it. 3 of my mates have had the sony and all are really pleased with it, a mate has a panasonic and although it's a good looking tv it has gone wrong twice in the last 18 months (power supply both times)
hope this helps

I was looking for a new 32" 100Hz TV 3 years ago and choosed between Sony, Panasonic and Philips. One salesman (with all 3 brands in store) told me Panasonic had poor crt:s so Sony and Philips were the brands to go for. I finally bought the Philips 8807, mainly because of the reviews and the 3 scarts. I read a lot of customers reviews and it was a tough fight between Sony and Philips. Panasonic wasn't that highly rated. If price is the same, I would go for the Sony.

There is normally a price premium to be paid for the Sony but in my view it's worth it. The picture quality on the Sony is excellent, especially the 100Hz models, but like most things in life 'you get what you pay for'
Enjoy!

UPDATE
Well yesterday I had the opportunity to have both TV's in the house working at the same time for the day
And I can tell you now I will be keeping the Panasonic because it out classed the Sony in every way!!
The picture and sound quality on the Panasonic was much superior
Thanks for all your input chaps!!
