I'm afraid that I scrape in to this era, and remember a lot of this, although things were a bit diffrent in Scotland. Wink

brilliant site - i woz born 1945 -& a biker to boot - still am - so greasy cafes well known to me - & best of all there were no speed limits.  Best I got was 115 mph on a tuned 650cc Triumph Tiger 110 - & the law couldn't touch me - far happier than todays PC correct / nanny / police state nonsense
