I've been scouring the best ISP's for broadband in the u.k.
Top rated so far;
Scotnet
Vispa
Zen
Onyx
Plusnet
Biscit
Scotnet has been tops for the last three years....please note guys, this rating may be influanced by the number of their members voting....it wasn't clear on this.

i'm in the process of finding a different ISP as mine used to be with freeserve, who have now changed names to wanadoo, and decided to put a limit on my monthly traffic
they can kiss my a*se if they think i'm paying the same amount for a reduced service
pipex looks interesting
keen prices and hear good reviews. free connection too

here's the link m8
http://www.wanadoo.co.uk/time/broadbandaccess/existing512k.htm
having re-read it, it looks like existing customers will be unaffected.
new customers are really going to get screwed though
going to migrate to these i think

I've been with Pipex since November, very reliable only been down twice for a short time. Good value at £23.44 all in for 512/256 service with no limits.
