"Steve's" web of intrigue?

"Steve's" web of intrigue?

It is not without trepidation that I start this post

An observation by: “Biggles K”

Why is it that “Steve’s Home Page” is so popular?.......... It is my view that it is in fact, an ongoing “Soap; Play or Saga” as an example: “Neighbours, (or) Home and Away” with hundreds if not a thousand, watching and working out the plot. You have the “Comedians; Academics; Goodies; Baddies, the odd Alcoholic, not forgetting the Chucker outers” and many others to make up the cast. All Homo sapiens, with but one voice. There is excitement; tragedy; pathos, not forgetting, accolades; innuendoes and anger.

The “Forum’s” tempo is governed by the actions of “Providers” and “Technological advances”. With its own Social Structure, sometimes it is “total mayhem” and at others, “tranquil”. Just, who are these actors that make this place live?

I like to call it “MY HOME FROM HOME”

As per usual……..Just….”Biggles K” Now! where is that can?

@haga

Please forgive me for using words that some may not understand........I must remember that many on here are not English born....
Just in passing "Chucker outers" is a colloquialism for the men at the doors of  Night Clubs who's job it is to throw bad people out (by force).
Who would the "Chucker outer" on Stev's forum be then? We all know who the Alcoholic is!!! 8) 8) 8) 8) Hic!  Grin

But m8, the play has not yet ended and once again we have problems with the MR.....Hopefully the academics will sort it out.

@blue604...I didn't know we had any of those, but there has to be one that reports back to the Providers...Let's not get into that old one though.

:'( :'( :'( :'( The fridge aint got no beer. (Translation: I have to go to the off-licence to get some beer!!!) Back in a swig!

Your critic of this soap/fly on the wall of this home from home is perhaps a shade on the cool side. Looking back over the long history of this epic we have had a good a story line as any of the long running TV nightly opera's.

What we have here folks is a small group of dedicated people. People that want to help others....Make jokes but also advize....I don't think that names should me mentioned, what we have is a core of personalities...characters as from a novel...Extraverts perhaps, but the end result as the saying goes..."The proof of the pudding is in the eating"

At the end of the day...."THIS SITE WORKS"...I have; once or twice, "blown my top".....Spoken "Out of turn" and had a "WARNING"...Made terrible mistakes....What about you?

Steve, keep up the good work and "Lang may your lum reek" (that was for Bri!)...What does that mean Bri?

Just...."Biggles"  8) 8) 8) 8) Just one more can then!! Hic!

PS> Gordon Bennet!!! the only thing missing is the music!!!

Hi m8's,

This is the second time invalid and I have tried to characterise us in terms of sit com, or soap stars. And no one grants us this humble joy.  Sad
