How often do you change yours?
Oct 5th, 2003, 1:50pm

How often do you change your Lnb -ive had a cambridge 0.7 since 1998 on a lenson health 1 metre dish- reason for asking I can get a picture on Tv1000 (2 & 3) the horizontal ones- but nothing on tv1000 (1)
Signal level is between 30 &40 % for all channels the quality is 30% for horizontal channels and 0 for vertical channels -the dish is approx 3 foot from the ground with no trees etc to obstruct

hi m8,if the signal quality is only 30%on tv1000 2&3,then u wont recieve any vertical channels,i dont think its your lnb,but the fact is u may need a bigger dish to pull in the v polarity.what is your location, and have u ever pulled in v polarity?

Has anyone tried those invercom lnbs - would one of those make any difference?

Hi m8's

To get those weak signals on 5W in the UK i.e. TV 1000, the only answer is a larger dish..(I have Triax1.1)...........The 0.3 LNB did make a difference for me with regards to Ticket....I can now get them all during daylight hours (about a 10% gain on the 0.7)......Still fades during the night though. If you have not seen the post, "TV1000 East" is coming in strong on a new beam (Europe I think). For me, I have read that a 1.5 mtr is the minimum.............My local Council wouldn't like one of those on my wall!!!!

Best of luck....bigglesk

I`m in the north east midlands,i can get tv1000(1) 4 a few hours during the day but i have a 1.2 channel master dish.
As others have said the only way you will pick this channel up is with a bigger dish.
