Midsummer
Jun 19th, 2003, 11:39pm

Hi m8's,

Today is Midsummer Eve in Sweden. A big day for most of us. Apart from New Year (and of course may 1st) it's the only non Christian holliday. I think it's a remedy from an old heden sacrifice fiest to the honour of summer and light.

Most Swedes get very pissed this friday (worse than usual) and participate in silly children games, dancing and singing around a cross with flowers and leaves on it.

So with this long introduction I want to wish all my m8's at Steves a Merry Midsummer! Cheesy

Hi m8's,

I haven't been in Bath since 1968. Nice little town.

As belmando says the weather here today has been a bit chilly and rainy. Reminds me of the midsummer I spent in Scotland outside Locherbie -97. 13 centigrades and showers. Tongue But we had lots of crayfish , lager and Macallan, so it wasn't completely wasted. Cheesy
