Are you in Spain by any chance?

Any box should do the trick, the important bit will be how big is the dish?

You're going to need at least a 1.5m dish to get a reasonable signal and a really good LNB on the end of it!

It sounds like a codec problem.
Not having converted anything to Divx myself see if you can update your Divx player, firmware flash or something.
Also try getting the latest divx codec from the home page, http://www.divx.com/

Its odd that the Klite package isn't doing its stuff but they do update it on a regular basis so perhaps see whats been updated there.

sorted Thanks....I threw the disc drive down the yard and replaced it with a new one. This now reads cd,s as well as dvd.s

You might get slightly better performance if you hard wire it, but unless you are on a fibre connection there's not a lot in it

You could pick up a buffered jtag from ebay, theres a link to someone who makes them on the other thread.

I think you're right, most of the boxes are similar once you get the lid off but the components may be different and the firmware will for sure have some box-specific code in there somewhere.

The pace hack only accesses the flash memory, so if you can find a way into it (or replace with working ones) you might be in luck

BTW for those who don't know oscam doesn't need the boxkey to open the premium sky channels and it does work with pick tv, etc.
