Title: Red Button
Post by jrb333 on Nov 24th, 2012, 5:49pm

Could someone tell me where do I find the Red Button channels I can receive on satellite, they seem to have disappeared from my receiver?

Any help with this request would be very much appreciated.

Just checking again, this is what my dm800 shows

Type - DVB-S
Modulation - QPSK
Frequency - 10773000
Symbolrate - 22000000
Polorization - Horizontal
Inversion - Auto
FEC Inner - 5/6
Name - 6390

I get a SNR of 96% and a BER of 0.

This is on one of the spot beam transponders, focussed on the UK, so if you're in spain or further away you might have trouble locking it up without a big dish

@stave

Thanks for your help, I was able to receive the old red buttons but for some reason I cannot find this one, have they changed
the Satellite or is it the same one they have been using for some time, or maybe they have reduced the strength?

again thanks for your help as always it is much appreciated.

Lyngsat lists it as being on the Astra 1N UK footprint

The footprint map is here
