Title: LIMEWIRE
Post by Bobski on Jun 12th, 2005, 7:47pm

Well I'm thinking about buying into this Limewire p2p program and just want to know what you guys think about it.
So far I have been very impressed with the free version and what the product can download, but not sure where you stand when you buy a password key and install the full program.

So far I have downloaded everything that I have wanted, but I'm not sure about how they get away with it all, especially if you have brought into the program.

Are there any floors or downfalls with this product?

Kindest Regards

hi bobski

i have limewire pro 4.8.1 the latest version and like you i had the free version before, i have used mine to do everything inc mp3s and films.

to be honest i cant see alot of difference in free and pro they say faster downloads well maybe the case !!

i suppose they get away with it as a file share prog between users as what you share is not under there control, but no doubt it will at some stage be jumped on from a great height.

make the most of it while you can

regards

Thanks Lads, thats what I'm a bit worried about, I know its only a £10 but if they pulled the plug on it tomorrow your knackerd.

Also if you pay by credit card for the program ,they then have all your details ect.... whats stopping the music industry demanding the details of all the paying Limewire users and then going after us for downloading music?

(I must be in paranoid mode at the mo :-/ lol)

Thanks anyway..........ill go back in me hole now  ;D
