Exciting but uneven World War Two adventure with some great action sequences, starring Clint Eastwood, Telly Savalas, Donald Sutherland and Harry Dean Stanton 11.45pm Soylent Green (PG) 1973 Chilling sci-fi thriller set in the overpopulated New York of 2022, starring Charlton Heston as a cop who links a murder with the mysterious synthetic food fed to the populace. Director Richard Fleischer seems to lose his way in the middle, but it's worth staying tuned for the ending. Comedy caper, starring Robert Wagner, Raquel Welch, Edward G Robinson and Godfrey Cambridge (888) 3.35am Joe: The Busy Body (PG) 1972 An unassuming TV scriptwriter finds himself in a tricky situation when he accidentally kills a blackmailer — leaving him desperately trying to stay one step ahead of the law as he disposes of the corpse. Rib-tickling French comedy, starring Louis de Funes, Bernard Blier, Claude Gensac and Michel Galabru 5.00am Postman's Knock (U) 1962 Gentle comedy about a conscientious rural postman whose efficiency earns him a transfer to London, where he foils a gang of crooks.
